Descriptions, Reviews, &c.

"Having improvised together since they were kids, the brothers Lauritz and Isach Skeidsvoll have developed a strong musical connection which they constantly seek to evolve, challenge and explore.

Here comes their latest release; a live recording from their hometown Molde and the Molde International Jazz Festival. All free improvised music, moving from high energetic shrieks of bliss to calm soundscapes and everything in between, yet often with a tonal core.

Lauritz Heitmann Skeidsvoll (b. 1994) started playing the saxophone when he was 8 years old, following in his older brother's footsteps who had started learning the trumpet.

Lauritz studied jazz at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, where he is based today. Working mainly with improvised music, he is known from other projects like Master Oogway, Bangkok Lingo and Bear Brother.

Isach Skeidsvoll (b. 1996) is a piano player and composer from Molde, Norway. He started out as a trumpet player, but gradually began to learn the piano.

He is working in the field of free improvised music and has collaborated with artists such as Frode Gjerstad, Paal Nilssen-Love, Martin h. Mellem and Lauritz Skeidsvoll. He is also a member of bands such as General Post Office and Bear Brother. He is based in Bergen."-Clean Feed Records
