"In 2019, the Ensemble Studio Dan commissioned New York composer and pianist Anthony Coleman for a new work. The program was premiered at the Saalfelden Jazz Festival and was also presented in Vienna at the Jeunesse Special 2019, live at Porgy and Bess.
Thomas Mießgang writes about the music in the liner notes: "(...) Is it jazz? Is it contemporary music? Is that the throbbing motor of rock-and-roll in there?
