A beautifully packaged hard cover book bound with 3 CDs, a DVD, and 78 pages of images and text, presenting the trio of Evan Parker (tenor sax), John Edwards (double bass), and Eddie Prevost (drums), joined one night by pianist Alexander v. Schlippenbach, and another night by trombonist Christof Thewes. Each CD is drawn from a single night, the first the core trio, the 2nd with Schlippenbach, and the 3rd with Thewes. The DVD extracts performances from each night. The wealth of images are selected from every night, and the liner notes are from Richard Williams. With masterful playing and legendary players, this is a valuable and reward release which is highly recommended!
DVD is PAL format, and must be used in a DVD player that supports PAL or on a computer with a DVD reader.
