"Romannis Mötte is a New Age spacescape ensemble featuring many elements of early electronic music inspired by pioneering kraut rock acts such as Ash Ra Tempel, Tangerine Dream, and Klaus Schulze. RM serves up soft and flowing "movements" of electronic spacescapes designed to center, relax and purge the negative from the mind and body. RM was created in 2003 by Chad Davis, whose initial forays into electronic music include one of the longest running minimalist death industrial projects in the US, SUBKLINIK, formed in 1995. Davis is also founder of several influential doom metal (HOUR OF 13, MOUNTAIN OF JUDGEMENT) and black metal (ANU, SET, OLDE) projects.
