CRISIS IN CLAY is the powerful new follow up to 5UU's Hunger's Teeth, the band's debut album for ReR which was releasd to great acclaim in 1994. Three years later and the trio of Drake, Kerman and Kumar return (together with Dimuzio and Brazieal) with a fresh set of original songs that push and pull in several directions.

Here is progressive rock, jazz, soundtrack music, flourishes of Zappa, Yes, primal Henry Cow and brutally slashed strokes of twisted 5UU's genius, all splashed on to a musical canvas that refuses to fit into any accepted frame.

Crisis In Clay takes 5UU's musical vision to an even stronger and stranger musical level, one where rock, symphony and creative cacophony collide to produce a music that boldly balances between the avant garde and stadium rock... all without a safety net!
