Previously played Squidco store copy, used for cataloging and samples, in excellent condition.

Beehatch is the collaboration of Phil Western and Mark Spybey, who met in Vancouver while playing together in Download. Ten years later Beehatch was initiated as the result of a telephone connection, and the album recorded in Los Angeles and England via internet file sharing. In their hands this became an effective and liberating approach to developing the music of Beehatch, informed from a history of work in bands Zoviet France, Download, Dead Voices on Air, Plateu, Propellor. An excellent album of twisted grooves, hypnotic suggestion, and an air of electroacoustic mystery.
