Ricart, Edward / Tim Daisy: Yiu Ja Ley (Public Eyesore/eh?)
Label: Public Eyesore/eh?
Released in: USA

"A scorching set of fire music featuring guitarist Edward Ricart and drummer Tim Daisy - here in total free jazz mode like I've rarely heard him, reminds me of Chris Corsano. Ricart kicks every track off with a loose bass loop (or is it a random bass line generator?) before he starts shredding like... well like Paul Flaherty would do on the saxophone (yes, as in the Flaherty/Corsano duo). There's hardly any time to breathe. Things are happening fast, and the music is relentless and exhausting. And both players are admirable performers."-Francois Couture, Monsieur Délire
