At the age of 23 Alfred Harth formed the free improvisation group E.M.T. (Exreme Musik Truppe) with artist and pianist Nicole Van den Plas from Belgium and Sven-Ake Johansson from Sweden. E.M.T. included dada and fragmented classical works from Grieg, Schubert, and others. These early live recordings from 1973 give a great idea of what the band was capable of, with Harth performing on a variety of instruments aside from his reeds. Exhilarating music at the start of several brilliant careers.
