Descriptions, Reviews, &c.

"Subtle exploration of the trio form. The compositions by Jean Felix Mailloux have some jazz influences mixed with world rhythms. Bomata present the music of their eponymous first album. The playful side of the melodies, the interaction between musicians and the obvious pleasure of playing music together characterizes this trio. The beauty and simplicity of Bomata's music will reach out to people."-Malasartes

"Jean Felix Mailloux is involved in several projects, either as producer, composer, arranger, or bassist, including the Trio Jean Félix Mailloux, which performed at the Montréal International Jazz Festival in 2003 and 2007.
