Descriptions, Reviews, &c.

"The Sonorine was usually a pre-recorded disc like a record but other 'talking postcards' allowed you to record your own message onto the disc. I like the idea that these records allow anyone to capture a set of sounds and replay them in a completely different environment as a means of communication. When I started gathering the material for this release, I wanted to capture recordings from specific places and then present them framed and edited like you would with images on a postcard.

Justin Hardison has been creating work under the name My Fun using field recordings, sampling, found sounds and electronic processing with releases on The Land Of, Stasisfield, Ristretto and Test Tube labels. His primary focus is exploring the emotive quality of everyday sounds and aims to create narrative work without a particular music genre guiding the final editing process."-The Land of.org
