Descriptions, Reviews, &c.
82 short tracks representing the most interesting from Cutler's "Out of the Blue Radio" which ran on the London Musicians Coop's radio station from July 02-July 03. The idea was simple, ambient recordings from the soundscape of various musicians somewhere in the world, all at the same time (23:30-midnight London time). Musicians include Peter Cusack, David Lee Myers, Otomo Yoshihide, Brian Woodbury, Chris Cutler, Andrew McKenzie, Jack Vees, Steve MacLean, Phil Zampino (CHANGES TO blind), Annie Gosfield, Nicholas Collins, Jon Rose, Roberto Iolini, Stevan Tickmayer, Avram/Dumitrescu / Amy Denio, Jim Pugliese, and many, many more. An excellent structure for field recordings that makes the world sound a little closer.
