Heasley conjurs tonal worlds in the realm of Pauline Oliveros' Deep Listening Band, using subtle effects to create growling, deep and mysterious sound environments. Here is he is joined by Greek born West Coast drummer Toss Panos, who has recorded with a who's who including Dweezil Zappa, Mike Keneally, John Goodsall, Steve Vai, Mike Landau trio, &c. His introspective drumming punctuates Heasley's textures that draw out unusual voicings and unexpected interactions, making this Heasley's most active and interesting release to date.
