QBICO's U-Nite series continues in Denmark, bringing three improvising groups together for two nights of seriously heavy music.

"One day Jon, a very young and bright feather/musician/artist/soul, asked me if I'd like to do a Qbico U-nite in the little port town of Aarhus, Denmark and I said why not !? Our original intention was to bring an American free form 4et with Arthur Doyle... in the end Arthur couldn't make it, but an exceptionally loose trio made it burn: Daniel Carter/Vin Paternostro/Ed Wilcox ! I thought it'd be the Daniel Carter Trio but Daniel warned me, saying he never had a group under his name, 'cos he's still learning (never met such an humble and ego-less musician)... they never played before together, so we got the foolish idea to make a rehearsal @ Jon and Marc's tiny room in front of the port, the night before the U-nite... after half an hour of trio playing Jon & Marc joined in, as well as Qbico... we flow with time (and lost it) for nearly an hour, had some collective fun and hugged each other at the end... it was special ! The following night we were at the Musikcafeen for the U-nite and being held in Denmark, I can't help but invite my friends of the Family Underground, who did a terrific 25 minutes set of pure bliss ! The U-nite ended with the outta space Carter/Paternostro/Wilcox trio, it rained fire and the folks who attended went crazy, as you'll hear... live !"-QBICO
