"Davide Piersanti: Trombonist, composer, improviser, he now lives in Berlin. He plays in different styles and media: free improvisation, avant jazz, funk, electroacoustics, orchestras, dance, theatre. A graduate in jazz at the L.Refice Conservatory in Frosinone, he played and collaborated with Butch Morris, Alvin Curran, Steve Swell. Ken Hyder, Tim Hodgkinson, Gino Robair, Eugenio Colombo, Tristan Honsinger, Funkallisto, Iato Orchestra, Manuela Giovagnetti and many others."

"Hui-Chun Lin (林惠君), Cello solo player, Performer, composer. born 1979 in Taiwan. Classical piano and cello education. Studied with Professor Peter Bruns at Dresden Conservatory. Postgraduate studies in improvisation with Tilo Augsten at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig. Worked as solo cellist and ensemble musician Improvisation, theatre music, contemporary music, dance performance, classical music, world music and cello solo with live electronics. Participated in a workshop with "Yo-Yo Ma & The Silk Road Ensemble" at Carnegie Hall in New York 09/2006, also participated the workshop "Dave Douglas: Composition and Improvisation in New York 02/2010" Leipziger Jazztage 2007 (jazz festival) with "Beat Freisens Spelunkenorchester", Conducted an improvisation class at a middle school in Tainan/Taiwan 2008/09 "Artist in Residence" in Cité des Arts Paris 07/2010-01/2011. Hui-Chun Lin is a musician who moves fluidly among work in avantgarde music, world music, jazz and improvisation and also performance. Her repertoire encompasses traditional, experimental and classical music in equal measure. Her musical work is concerned above all with sounding out the intersections, boundaries and connections among genres, epochs and cultures. She is now also a musician, performer and cello teacher in Berlin, since 2011.

Since 2015, she starts to produce her own music, working with the Berlin Music Label "Maybee Records", and making music albums with variable musicians."

"Sergio Andrés Castrillón Arcila (Cellist/Composer/Improviser/Researcher) is a Colombian multimedia artist focused in sound but interested in any artistic manifestation. As performer he enjoys the constant activity as Cellist of Contemporary Music (especially Latin American), improvisation works with new technologies and collaboration works with theatre performers, poetry and contemporary dance. Over the last 5 years his work as composer has been focused in electroacoustic/instrumental and acousmatic music premiered and performed in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Sweden and Uruguay to name a few. He has also produced music for audio-visual projects, documentaries, short films, long films, commercial videos, One-Minute Films among others. Currently he lives in Helsinki where is developing his Doctoral research, teaching improvisation and composition at Laponia Improvisations and developing multimedia projects."

Ulf Mengersen is a German bassist living in Berlin. He studied at Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar. He is a member of Berlin Improvisers Orchestra, Ensemble MIA.

"Klaus Kürvers, born 1950 in Essen (Germany), doublebass studies 1964-68 among others with Peter Trunk. During the late sixties member of the Essen Jazz groups ("Free Jazz" since 1967); 1969-71 in Cologne with the Jazz-Rock-Group "Eiliff" (w / Rainer Brüninghaus). Interupted 1971-2006 his public music activities for his studies and professional scientific career as an architect and cultural historian in Berlin. Since 2006 resumption of his musical activities as part of the Berlin improvisers' scene. Performing bassist again since 2009."
