One should, in any case, give a lot of attention to the large number of interstices which lead to the centre of the ear, wherefrom sounds spread out through a dense network leading to more circuits which direct these same and their relationships directly to the brain, in a logic of musical articulation which is nothing less than frightening. Walter Marchetti was a meber of the experimental music and performance art group Zaj. formed in 1959 in Milan, Italy. It included Marchetti, Juan Hidalgo, and was supported by John Cage. The group received contributions by artists in the Spanish avant-garde scene, including writer and diplomat Jose Luis Castillejo and interdisciplinary artist Esther Ferrer. During the 1960s, members of Zaj took part in different Fluxus events and toured various cities in the US during the late 1970s.
