Drumm's 1999 2nd release, "Second", reissued in a limited CD; subtle soundtracks that appear and fade using drone elements from guitar, organ, accordion, and analogue synth.

Drumm, Kevin
Second

Label: Perdition Plastics
Country: USA

"This is the first reissue of Kevin Drumm's Second since its original appearance and out-of-print status in 1999. Drumm is well-known and respected as a composer and improvisational player. Second is indeed Drumm's second solo release and is comprised of three compositions. By appearing, disappearing, and reappearing, subtle and dissonant sounds characterize an internal dialogue within an almost filmic scenario. Foreshadowing his later, dark, ambient drone work, Second utilizes a variety of sources including: guitar, organ, accordion, and analogue synth finalized to computer to create this unique document within his extensive output. Compositionally precise and intricate, minute details emerge and illustrate the scope of Drumm's range."-Perdition Plastics
