"Der Gelbe Klang" translates to "The Yellow Sound", trombonist Conrad Bauer's own impression of his solo work, or perhaps better, duos with electronics. Using an array of hardware and software, Bauer create unusual compositions, from guttural soundscape to unusual melodic counterpoint. A mainstay in the European free jazz scene, Conrad Bauer has performed and worked with Derek Baily, Han Bennik, Antony Braxton, Peter Brötzmann, Gerry Hemmingway, Fred van Hove, Daniel Humair, Peter Kowald, Joachim Kühn, George Lewis, Louis Moholo, Butch Morris, Maggie Nickols, Tony Oxley, Barre Phillips, Louis Sclavis, Künstlern wie z.B. Herbert Fritsch, Krause Zwieback, &c. &c. &c.
