Frequent collaborators Japanese pianist Nobu Stowe and Sound Sculptor Lee Pembleton in various configurations of duos, trios, quartets and quintets. Joining them on various tracks are New York ABC-NO RIO saxophonist Blaise Siwula and Perry Robinson on clarinet, along with Ross Bonadonna on guitar and John McLellan on drums. Pembleton affects the acoustic sound of the resulting mix in subtle ways, still preserving the acoustic quality of the recordings. The music is primarily driven by Stowe, and his dominating and dramatic playing works well alone in duo and group settings.
