Ghedalia Tazartes's third album was originally released in 1984 on the Celluloid label. Born in France of Turkish descent, his compositions use modern musical language and concepts of organized sound, incorporating many languages, and expressing incredible and bizarre musical attitudes that lock the listener's focus. He uses the tools of the academics in the manner of a rock musician, but without the ego, and indeed, with a huge sense of humor and awe for the world around us. Tazartes' work went largely unnoticed in the 70s and 80s that his most creative compositions were released, and he has only recently received the interest he deserves.

Une Eclipse... was originally a work in two parts with incredibly creative music, along with many voicings, from those of children to inexplicably odd chattering and chanting. It also incorporates a canary, a woman on the stairs, and the vacuum-cleaner's miraculé! This reissue also includes a new work, "Part I", composed expressly for this release incorporating recorings from Paris 1976 & 1979.
