Michael Moore's quartet with Ab Baars on clarinet in original compositions about the caring people who take in traveling musicians on tour, focused on Vancouver and North America.

Moore, Michael
Fragile

Label: Ramboy
Country: The Netherlands

"'Sympathy was the one word Jack Kerouac used to describe the beat poets' message. Human relationships and eco-systems are fragile and need to be handled with care. Traveling musicians often depend on the kindness of stranges, family and friends. These pieces are about caring people. Most of them were written in the summer of 2007 on the West coast of North America, either around Vancouver Island or in Northern California. Our innate feeling for music has a great deal to do with our feeling for living things, to paraphrase Oliver Sacks."-Michael Moore, from the liner notes.
